- 02Permits and inspections, handledWe pull the local permit and build the plumbing and electrical to current Massachusetts code: GFCI protection at the outlets, supply and waste lines sized for the fixtures, and proper clearance at the toilet and the vanity. Inspections are scheduled and met on our end, not yours.
- 03Ventilation and materials sized for the coastThe exhaust fan is rated for the room and ducted outside, not into the attic, so moisture leaves the house instead of settling into the framing. Hardware, trim, and paint are chosen for salt air and off-season damp.

We measure the room, confirm where the plumbing and the vent can move, and settle tile, vanity, fixtures, and lighting on paper first. Selections are locked before a wall opens, so the schedule and the budget hold.

Demolition, framing, plumbing, electrical, tile, and finish carpentry are sequenced so the room is out of service only as long as the work requires, and if it is the only full bath in the house we plan around that. Licensed and insured, with the space cleaned at the end of every day.

Backer board instead of drywall behind the tile, sealed shower assemblies, and finishes that hold up in salt air. A house here can sit closed up from October to May, and the bathroom should open in spring exactly as it was left.
